Hello - I am looking for a logo for my multisport team (triathlons, running races, bicycling) The contest will run through February 29th a little longer if necessary - but I am under a deadline to get jerseys ordered. The logo is to be used for our team jerseys and t-shirts and maybe on a webpage or newsletter- we are a small non-profit team. I will pay $50.00 by paypal to the winner if I get an acceptable logo.

The team name is EVIL MONKEY MULTISPORT. There does not need to be a monkey involved in the logo. If there is a monkey the preferred image is the classic monkey with the cymbals (I can provide a pic if you do not know what I am talking about) - however we are open to all ideas. You can also use the classic multi-sport symbols (runner, biker, swimmer) The logos can be colorful but should also transfer well to just one or two colors if necessary. A simple distinct logo woul probably work best..and it is possible that we could have a clean simple logo for the front of the shirts and a larger more complex logo for the back. If it turns out that two logos work best, I am willing to pay an addditional $20.00. (The logos will be used on cycling jerseys as well as t-shirts. Take at look at www.champ-sys.com for the type of look we are going for - the have a number of team jerseys in their gallery and this is the place I would most likely be ordering from. i believe that they require EPS files or very hig grade jpeg.

BTW, this was done in illustrator so i can provide an eps file.

EDIT: Let me know what you think of the evil monkey heads and the bike / runner, i can incorporate them both into one / change colours etc.

I like the idea of keeping it simple. We need to work the name into the logo - also, the logo almost looks like a very simple swimmer, if you can get the other two sides to look like a biker and runner then it would represent 3 sports and be more in line with the multisport team. Thanks.

I think you need to change the biker and swimmer icons - you cannot really tell what they are. If we are going to have a monkey in the design I think it should be one logo instead of many. I would also like to see the name of the team. Thanks..

The two logos so far are on the right track and I like the simplicity a lot..I would als like to see other logo ideas - here are a few logos that I have seen that interest me.

Use the monkey head on the left - center it - and put 3 smaller logos (swim bike run stick figures) between the head and the team name

I like this one better - get rid of the red in the teeth and eyes...see if you can make the banner a different color - maybe blue...I like the script but it may be hard to read - see if there is another font that would be a little clearer. Also show me the logo just in black and white if possible. Great job.

I have made a new creation - got inspired from the ones you posted and said you like.

I know its a gorilla and not a monkey but i couldn't find a decent monkey picture to use as a reference and i think gorilla looks way more evil!

There are 3 versions: black&white, blue and green. If you want I can make some more variations with the colors of your choice.

Any modifications considering the font or the position of text are no problem at all.

You will cause problems down the line for evil monkey multisport if you do win. As someone will recognise it as the monkey from Family Guy as it is a direct copy.
Please remember not to blindly copy pictures from the internet and use them for anything but personal use.

Yep, exactly... anyone submitting copyright images they didn't create can't be considered an entry.

The monkey head did look a little familiar - see if you can get another image or draw a more simplistic version...also incorporate the other changes I mentioned. Thanks.

dont remember the name though which had a serious "evil monkey" head with open mouth and teath and slime and all : alway found that one a very nice pictue for inspiration...

I like the logo but some of the club members like your first one better without the Gorilla..can you change up your first one a little bit..maybe with the font and try some different colors? Thanks.

Since I have given you guys some different ideas I am going to extend the contest until Monday. So far everyone has done a good job. Have a great weekend.

This is my entry. I can make any changes. The logo is simple and can easily translate into any color. If you want changes with the monkey, athlete figures, text, or anything let me know.

Thanks, that monkey took a ridiculous amount of stroke paths with pen tool to make.

Here's the changes you asked:

You can choose which one you like the most, or have all of them.

I decided to go with red instead of blue like you asked because I overall it just makes more sense with the text and logo. However if you'd like to see it in blue it won't be a problem.

Hear are some more examples. Again anything can be changed but I just though I would post some more ideas...

Just a quick suggestion, damir. It might look better on the last two you posted if the monkey's outline was a bit thicker. The one-pixel line is a bit too thin for me...idk.

WOW!! All these logos are awesome..I figured that there would be one that just stood out above the rest but all of them are really good. I am going to have the team look them over the next day or so and we will have a winner picked by Friday. Thank you everyone for all of the hard work.

Any changes to mine in any style you like can be worked to suit your needs if you wish.

Awesome logo - I am having the whole team look at it tomorrow along with the rest of them. I really like the bike, runner, swimmer logos.

After having the team vote on the logo it came down to 3 votes for Damir 3 votes for mediadesign 2 votes for David and 2 votes for Bouzy. As you can see we were pretty divided because all of the logos were so good. We finally decided to have Damir and Mediadesign work together and they came up with the winning logo based upon a combination of their designs.. Way to work together guys.

David's logo was either hated or loved by everyone - there was no in between.

Thanks for everyone's hard work on this. You are all extremely talented.
