I was wondering what interest there was in starting up the 3d comp again, it kind of... died... the last few have been entirely empty.

I would like some feedback on the scale of comp you would enter, the style, time frame, ect. and any other ideas YOU would like to see done, put them forward so i know what the general consensus is, which hopefully transfers into more entries and more shared critique.

I am not going to suggest anything as my suggestions will lead to bias be it positive or negative.

I'm very not picky.... only thing is... I suggest having like maybe atime limit... nothing to small of a limit but just have one.... on the modeling side only though.... like a guide line saying this should only take you this long to model

i'm back too.

I Would start with some easy things and very good defined, not too open (this can always be changed later), but i think if you as k someone to model something, you would get more respons (in the beginning that is, till this thread gets more attention) then when you ask more vague thing were evryone need at least a week to be creative before starting to model).
Also you could alter things sometimes, like f.ex. giving the scene and asking everyone to change camera and use only 1 or 2 lights and then render it....
etc...

(another thing i like is: model anything you like, but you are limited to 20 steps only smile.gif )

This would have to be self disciplined, there is no way to make sure that the person making it really did take that long.
But yeah, i agree it would be decent as long as people didn't abuse it.

Maybe a smaller tester after this current comp is finished on a simple subject?
