Hi,
I'm a new user with Photoshop so I pretty much have no idea what I'm doing yet. I stumbled across this image:

and was wondering how to take a logo and create a similar package with the scratches and erosion look. I already have the logo, I just need help to make a similar background out of it. Can someone help me out?

For the scratches, you can use a brush set. A quick search on google will find loads of them.

For your logo, you can just try setting its layer to 'Overlay' and maybe decrease its opacity, or just try something similar to this: http://www.webdesign.org/web/photoshop/pho...tures.5581.html
