I'm familiar with code, and have no problem creating a website from scratch using HTML and CSS. However, I decided to take the task of designing a new page for my band's myspace. Well, the designing part was easy. Not the tough part--how the **** do I code this thing?! I have little to no experience with myspace, and for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to edit the page. I looked at the source a bit, but it didn't seem to help me as far as how I'd go about editing it.

Basically, I'm looking for some tutorials or something, I guess. I tried google but just got page after page of horrendous free layouts, and nothing as far as explaining how to create my own. Or, if you've personally created a page (preferably a band layout), I'd love to just see the code you put in the "about me" section or whatever, just to help me get an idea how everything works.

For reference, this is basically what I'm trying to create. Note this is an EXTREMELY basic idea, I just slapped stuff right off myspace for the sake of getting a general idea. But it shows what I want to do, basically. So, can anyone help? Thanks.
