Hmm
Actually, I don't know if this is the right section to post but whatever.

Uh... this has something to do with anti-analyzing but I don't know if that's the right term.

I'll show an example here of what I mean; you know some perfect screenshots captured (mostly from PlayStation games) have some quite vague and very small details on them (e.g. very small and semi-blurred text) due to the rendering reasons. Is it possible make them look 100% clearer in order to understand the text? I have messed around in CS4 a lot, there was a point I have managed to make them look clearer but not enough to understand the whole text.

Any advice? Thanks a lot!

I didn't see any examples of what you meant, but often when JPEGs are resized, they become blurry/pixelated. Topaz has a great program that you can buy that will resize images without the nasty compression.

You simply download it and use it as you would a filter in photoshop, their newest version works with CS4. There are free trials you can download, which sounds like something you may want to use if it's a one time only thing.

There's the page for it. I use Topaz in photoshop all of the time for editing, great program.

The program Kim points out is nice, but don't set your expectations to high.

There's really no "CSI: New york" in the real world, You cant enlarge, enhance, enlarge, enhance. because it cant enhance details that weren't there in the first place.

Links to these screenshots would help me "halp" you o.O

Sometimes, when things are too blurry you can sharpen them to increase quality or readability of hard to read or even unreadable text. Like SatanicPenguins said though, it's pretty hopeless to think at this current moment you will be able to completely fix an anti aliased image in Photoshop without re-creating it.

You can download a few plug ins that could help, but nothings really beyond the filters you already have. Some that I use are the Sharpen filter. and the Unsharpen Mask Filter. Ive listed two examples of their capabilities below. (Images taken from a Tennis game on Ps3)

Un-sharpened Original - The text isn't really ledgible under the larger text.

Slightly more readable. I can actually make out the word "SPRING".

Now I can make out "ALPINE" and "SPRING". I guessed on "WATER" for the last word.

You can't enhance a photo beyond its original specifications. You can modify it though, witch if it comes down to it and your working on something that calls for it, sharpen, make it out, re-create. smile.gif I hope this helped.
