This is a quick little project a friend of mine and me did. It was meant to be a mascot for a company.

The videos are a turn around of him. One with him animated and one with the new updates to him.

I hope you like him and I would love to get some feedback.

Nice and impressive. The mascot looks cute, and you have given a very nice 3-D look.

Thanks guys.... I kind of want to re visit him and add more stuff to him. He was a rush job to be honest just to show the client around what we were thinking. Also I want to make a less clean version of him and maybe work on the textures more.
N4Z.
New version with carbon fibre would look good, a more dark version. White robots look too... fake. I know that sounds odd, but it just seems to be the colour (or shade if you want to be picky) everyone makes their robots. White, grey and black are used to death with robots.

Awesome design job though dude smile.gif

carbon fiber with maybe red or gold edges would be hot

Very well-rendered. I must ask... which program did you use make the model?
SebLev
I used Autodesk Maya and Mental Ray to render.

modeling wise its great, good attention to detail front AND back, 9/10 personally i would like to see a bit more light from the eyes, animation wise something feels a tad strange... maybe thats just because hes doing some weird motions... 8/10... either way itd sell well to clients!

ps if you find yourself with some spare time please make me a tutorial! love a good robot tute victory.gif (expecially one for maya)
