I would like some feedback from you members.

Here is my current design below, I would like your thoughts and ideas on ways to improve the current design. Push it further, but at the same time keeping it clean and tidy.

At the end and when I'm satisfied with the design, I will be slicing and coding the site in valid XHTML and CSS, then working on a small backend for the website's content so it can be easily updated.

This site is for my hobby and a business which I hope will come from the hobby.

I'm trying to come up with a modern site that not only looks good to viewers but will fish out potential clientel.

triangles are to high for the menu....

under the webdesign title i would put a big old header image that encroaches on the title bar and leaves the confines of the layout a little, such as a swooping florish of colour
it looks ok at the moment, the layout is there. you just need a bit more flair or a great photo to make the whole layout pop out of the screen. thats what should happen with the majority of that whitespace.
