Yesterday one friend asked me if I know some project he could join. He studies Physics at University so I thought that some 3D or kinematics related projects could be fine —Compiz, for example—, but I suppose that to join such a project he should have hight level at programing —physics and maths as well, but that would not be a problem.

Do you know any other project wich could be interesting for him?

In my own opinion, it's better to make a project which is very useful like motors. We've done it during my college times and I'm glad to share it with you. But of course your suggestion is also good.
