Hi there

This is my first post so sorry if its in the wrong place.

I have a problem. I am using Dreamweaver to make a webpage along with Fireworks. When I try to put a layer with something in it using Dreamweaver it show up perfect in dreamweaver. Then when I upload it to the site and view it with a different resolution things are moved around. Is there a way to anchor or flatten all lays and have my elements in the layer still work and line up? the page I am working on is at www.northernvikingfootball.com. I am having problems keeping the calendar in place with various resolutions. I also have a layer with a quicktime element in it that moves as well.

If anyone can help me that would be great!

I don't know what exactly you mean about layers, maybe you are referring to the stacking order of the elements? That's defined through z-index.

I would also suggest that you ditch dreamweaver, because all you really need is a text-editor like notepad.

Dreamweaver is also known to create problems, like that of those you describe. I have no idea if this is due to incorrect usage or whatever, but what i do know, is that dreamweaver is obsolete. biggrin.gif

Also, there's not really any point in helping someone who doesn't understand the standards, because they just keep coming back. Ditch dreamweaver first, then I'll be happy to have a look at your code.
