I just bought a domain name on Name.com so that I could be the one that owns it before anyone else does. I already have a website/host and have a sub domain on that website that I want to appear as the .com that I just bought.

Example:
All the content from sub.DOMAINHERE.com is displayed when I type in MyNewDomain.com.

So instead of http://sub.DOMAINHERE.com/index.html
in the browser it looks like http://MyNewDomain.com/index.html

I tried to do the whole "Addon Domains" in CPanel but i keep getting this:

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: [***] Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

***=I've hidden Name.com's IPs

Anyways, what am i doing wrong? What would i need to do? Thank you in advance.
Neil
If you didn't hide your domain and ip address etc we could probably point out what you did wrong in your DNS config.

If name.com has a decent dns admin you could just add a redirect from a subdomain in your dns so it has nothing todo with cpanel.

You can add a new 'host record' with a hostname of 'foo'. the record type will be 'url redirect' and the destination you just make your main domain name. too easy.

it takes anywhere from 2-48 hours for DNS to propogate fully.. that could be your problem
