Step 1: Load your photo in CS5

Create a new layer by clicking on the new layer icon.

Now select the brush tool

Click on the icon color and pick a color of your choice

Click on the small arrow pointing down next the brush size to open and close the dialog box seen below.

1.       Select a soft brush

2.       Set hardness to 0%

3.       Set opacity to 100%

Zoom in to get a better view

Click the brush to where you want the makeup applied, try to do this accurately.

Now select the erase tool

Set the opacity to 9% and hardness to 0% then brush around the edges to make them smoother

Change the blending mode to overlay

And this will be the result!

Now select the blur tool and use if over the edges

Notice the improvement?

Now to image>adjustment>hue/saturation

Turn the saturation and lightness down slightly

Change the layer opacity to between 75 and 90% until it's the way you like it
