Windows Vista UAC...what is it?
User Account Control (UAC) is a new security component Windows Vista. UAC enables users to perform common tasks as non-administrators, called standard users in Windows Vista, and as administrators without having to switch users, log off, or use Run As.

The User Account Control is used to protect your computer, but it can sometimes become annoying with its constant warnings and pop ups. In this small easy tutorial, you will learn how to vanish your worries of UAC ever interrupting you again!

1. Press WINDOWS HOT KEY + R
This opens up the RUN prompt

2. Type in "CMD" without the quotes
This opens up the CMD Prompt

3. Type the following

C:WindowsSystem32cmd.exe /k %windir%System32reg.exe ADD HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

4. Restart your computer

5. Once you have loaded your desktop again, Vista UAC will popup telling you to re-enable itself. (aww its sad :p) Click NO and disable these notifications. It should say "change the way this security feature alerts me"

....and you are done!

It is very simple, and very easy. Thats its purpose, and why its useful.
