Texture Photo Manipulation
Step by step instructions for creating a cracked skin manipulation.
For this tutorial I’m going to show you how to use the Layer Mask tool with help of Blending Modes to create an unrealistic skin texture. These will be the images I will be using in this tutorial.
Step One: Open the image your going to apply this effect to.
Step Two: Now taking the cracked paint image we want to paste this layer over the woman. Than select the Color Burn selection on your Layer Channel menu.
Step 3: Now we need to clean up the image so the texture shows on here skin only. With the cracked paint layer selected we will add a Layer Mask. You will find this option in your Layer Channel menu.
Step Four: Now using your brush tool you can control what you want visible. Using black and white to either hide or reveal parts of the image. What I’m going to do is paint every part of this image except her face.

this tutorial is amazing, just im not quite sure on how to get that cracked paint image on there…lol i was trying to find two images similar or exactly like those cracked paint images you got there…in anycase, this is a great tutorial and i gotta say thanks

Simple and great..
the only difficulty is to find the right cracked paint image…
