Unique Rounded Corners Content Box in Photoshop

In this photoshop tutorial you will learn how to create a Unique Rounded Corners Content Box for your website.

Step one:

Create a new document with a black background and 360×300 pixels dimensions. Now select the Rounded Rectangle Tool, above your screen under the options palette choose Fill Pixels, set the radius to 10 px and check anti-aliased. In a new layer draw a white rounded rectangle with 285×225 px dimensions. You can set your own dimensions if you want a bigger content box. Then make the bottom left and top right corners straight by drawing a white rectangle on the corners.

Step two:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow and Stroke blending options to your rounded rectangle layer.

Step three:

Create a new layer, using your Pencil tool draw a 1px line inside your content box with a #EDEDED color shade.

Step four:

Select your Horizontal Type Tool and above your screen under the options palette set the font family to Arial, bold italic, 14 pt, strong and black color shade. In a new text layer type your first navigation title. Leave some space on the left end of the content box for a punch hole circle design.

Step five:

For your content text use arial, regular, 11 pt, none and #B0B0B0 color shade.

Step six:

Now add a punch hole on the corner, in a new layer draw a black circle with 12×11 px dimensions.

Step seven:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow and Stroke blending options to your black circle layer.
