I am trying to share a printer that is a local printer USB connected to a XP desk top with a wireless notebook running Vista having problems with Vista seeing the XP printer.

Does it show up when you go to look for a shared printer? It should at the very least show up when you browse for a shared printer when you go to add it. Then you will probably need the driver. Can you explain to me where exactly you get stuck?
