Welcome
The best way is to go to the Nvidia site and download the most current for your computer.
They may even have a scan to detect what you need.

EDIT When finding the above link, I noticed that they will scan and give you the most current.

Hi, I downloaded the nvidia download , everything was going great then it wanted to restart the pc. so first it said windows defender was stopping it from closeing so i held the button in for ten secs then it didnt come back on , well the pc was on but nothing on screen. so i closed it started it up again then it would power up and go on but the screen would switch off saying no signal. i had to put in my cd to restore it back to factory settings then tried again same thing. but when i did a scan it said what version of nvidia i have , but it had disapeared when i put pc back to factory settings before. is it hideing somewhere switched off do you think ? i reset my pc before an nvidia didnt disapear , it was the only thing i had left in control panel , now adobes there ? i dont know ??? I hope it doesnt stop me from playing tibia even though i cant play solitaire so that means Magic The Gathering is going to be impossible. what have I done. Any ideas I will try thgem, as i am a very bored housewife, wanna be geek. Thanks

Try and install the driver, again. You may want to turn off defender, this time. Be sure to turn it back on as soon as you are done. It is your protection from the nasties in cyber world.
