Well I'm getting there quicker than expected. Please critique my result, and be constructive please..

Coded this template from tables to CSS divs's with the help of P2L tutorial.

To view the result click here

Yes I know the css document should be in it's own file and I should link it to the page but, I can't be bothered. I've finished it and I need to get on with some work.

Thanks.

Yea works fine now.

Try making the right content area larger, to match the width of the header.

I think that's important and it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes. ^_^
Apart from that, nice colors, but I think it's too disconnected. I'd try to use another solid color for the container's background.

A good tip is to reset the browser so you are starting on a level playing field with all browsers.

Al the top of your style sheet add:

*{
border:0px;
padding:0px;
margin:0px;
}

I also think the header is too high for it's width.

Thanks for that tip man, what do you mean about it being to high for its width. You mean its to close to the top of the browser, or the overall image is to high.

I mean it reminds me of that lady down the road.. lots of bulk and not enough height. LOL

Yeah it looks too high for how wide it is.

the only thing i see that could be fixed is the content and navigation text doesn't match. the content text in the right content header box is to bolded or the stroke is on the inside. make it match the navigation text.
