If your on about the output.... Created a sky, floor and environment objects. Put a compositing tag on the floor object so it doesn't recieve shadows. Turned the environment strength to about 20% - to create a bit more ambience and brighten over all - and created a material for the sky. The new material has only one channel activated - luminance - into which the attached pic was loaded and it was dropped onto the new sky object (this is the reflection in the chrome of the hilt) Then just couple of omni lights front & back with soft shadows to give it some highlight and tilt the camera down so the sky isn't seen in the render. (There you go it's a little tutorial in it's self, he heJesus man, how have you got the render looking so smooth?
)
But if you're on about the model itself... it's low poly modeling with HNs applied in strategic places.
...basically everywhere! I admit it, I'm a hypernurb whore!
Thanks everyone, I'm quite pleased with it now. But a friend gave a small grainy blueprint to me and there's a couple of bits I need to add so I'll stick another one up when it's done.
