Well as most of you people know the Hurricane Katrina is Catergory 5 with 175mph winds! And is building in the gulf! . Im hoping everyone in New Orleans gets out of there because it will flood big time, the whole city might go under.... They say if it get flooded majorly it could take 6 months to get it all out. and as it looks like New Orleans will be getting hit right in the middle.... gonna be insane damage.... Best hopes to everyone in New Orleans!

I recall last year when they thought it would hit, lets hope it turns.

I sincerely hope all the homeless people get out and they are already saying some are not going.

Good luck trying to leave the state... we tried that last year.

The best thing they can do is go inland. I really feel sorry for the people thinking they can get away, no matter where they try to go, they'll get some of it, and to get some of it out on the highway is really bad. I'm lucky enough here in Florida that we only got her as a tropical storm.

We've got high winds coming up the Eastern Seaboard and then blowing inland here, if they're this strong here 1000's of km's away I can't imagine how they are down south further...

Are there any shelters nearby? I suggest you head for one soon.

Well, didn't pay much attention to how big this is, You know every huracane just about dies so much when it gets to shore, I just turned it on CNN, and FOX News, I feel bad, I mean only 3 other CAT. 5 Huricanes have hit US.
I am in Missouri, so I might get some of it.

Sounds like a pleasent smell :P

Yeah, the eye wall is very visible in that one, very organized storm, kinda took me by surprise, we all though it would hit us and die out. This could be an issue for me too, I can't recall which hurricane it was, but it took about the same path(but didn't hit us) looped around and then hit us.
