How hard is it to implement custom error pages like the '404 page not found' type of thing? Is the ability to have them dependant at all on your webhost?
TIA

Yes it's dependant on your webhost.. most hosts have a section in the control panel that allows you to create custom error pages.. if you have direct acess to the server it's a matter of editing a config file in apache or whatever server software you use to tell it which pages to divert to when a certain error occurs.

I believe you can do it with a .htaccess file? not sure though.. I just use cpanel to do it.
