hey guys been a while since my last post here is an image i made the other night, gonig for a photo realistic look, am still a far way off was while i learn vray rendering, this was made in 3dmax 7 and mental ray rendering.

Looks awesome, except the handle on the (teapot i think it is?) looks a bit jagged. And a lil dark for me.

try using hypernurbs on the teapot handle, and some better lighting, then it should look alot better :) nice work so far though

The blue cup plates ( blue ) dont suit it atall, try a diff textures. Nice work!

Yeah... the metal circle? eh.... And it definately needs some brighter lighting and a smoother teapot handle, but other than that it looks AWESOME!! great job!

If you're talking abt that metal disk up-front I think thats the lid of the teapot but I may be wrong ;)

I think your wrong, cause the lid on the teapot is already on it unless theres two

hey thanks for all the positive feedback, on the comment on the disc in the middle well i tired to make it a mirror and i did use a mirror texure but for some reason it comes out white, dont ask my why lol, i have done a lot of modifications to my scene and i have fixed the lighting i shall be posting it about 6pm tonight when i get home from college

yes people, i go to college with this guy... hes usually a better speller but hes trying to shout at a laptop supplier on the phone whilst DJ'ing ontop of his favourite AMD processor
