Landscape Twilit in Sahara desert.

Step 1
Open the image which you like .I use a picture of me:
Step 2:
Choose Layer background , Go to Layer > Duplicate layer. Set it to Soft Light. Then, on your duplicated layer, change the layer style to "overlay".
Step 3:
You press Ctr + E to merge two 2 layer.
Step 4:
Then go to Image>Adjustments>Variations.
When the Variations dialog box comes up you have a few options. you can choose whatever you want. But I choose “ more red” and click OK
Step 5 :
Go to Filter> Render> Lighting Effect
When dialog box turn up. Choose :
Light type: Spotlight
Intensity:35
Focus:69
Properties:
Gloss:0
Material: 69
Exposure: 0
Ambience: 8 . And click OK
And that's it

That actually looks very cool. It also looks like it can work in many other instances also. Oh, and don't worry about your English, it's not bad and is totally understandable.

Nice although this might be achieved by hue/sat and clour balances.
