Dunno what happened to target point but i heard they were a scam, also we all know AdSense seems to be the best but i just dont like the way Google just doesnt care who mass clicks your ads if u get invalid clicks your out, and they mostly likely wont listen to anything you say, you just get the same copy paste message as a reply.
I kinda stopped using ads when Google kicked me out after around 6 months of being with them and its been about 4 months since, might try yahoo or one of the other on that list sometime.

Target Point is still around and is not a scam... I have used them when I was just starting out, I only made $1.52 or something, but they sent me a check for that amount.

Also, Yahoo! is way better than Google... you should definitely check them out.

ive been using http://www.clicksor.com, seems to be ok, but you have to wait until you get to $50 before you get payed.. so i hate it :D Does adsense support paypal yet?

Google sends a cheque to your home address, I don't really see the point in them paying to a Paypal account.

$50 is peanuts.
-----------------

Faken yeah theres a few different things around but out of everything I have looked at Google Adsense is the best.

$50 is peanuts for a site like p2l, i also use clicksor because it allows paypal

Payouts for Clicksor are a joke! 24 hours of 3 cent clicks and that was the end of that nonsense lol!

My problem is not that I'm a minor (I'm 17) but that I don't have a flippin job (no license and my car is broke [gas leak] and i live out in the boonies), and I really need the help generating income for hosting now that I'm actually paying for it. Computer repair isn't steady enough for me to make income every month.

So I can't get google adsense because I don't have a W2 form. Grr.

Google clicked me out because a user who had a grudge against one of my sites repeatiatly clicked my ads over and over and they kicked me out I even sent emails to google that the guy who clicked the ads saying what he was going to do, they just didnt care. Which sucks I would try yahoo but they are not available in Canada.

GFXTuts i know, basically if your Website wasnt Big, just assuming it isnt  then google kicking you out wont affect them much, plus there are loads of other Publishers. Though if you could prove what you are saying, and send adsense some proof they might listen, otherwise they would just have your word, which for all they care wouldnt matter.
So the best thing to do if you have adsense is follow the TOS very strictly, if you see any changes etc alert adsense.

Also if i'm not mistaken once you're tirminated from Adsense you can never join them again ever, unless you change your name and address lol but that would be too extreme.

I don't think changing your name and address would help either heh... they ask for your Social Security number don't they? So unless you steal some one elses identity...

Anyway, Dark is right, if your website isn't making thousands a month it seems like Google just doesn't care.

Certainly they could fix up their program a bit, so instead of banning users with dozens of clicks from the same IP, it just doesn't count those clicks... I suppose they either don't care enough or don't feel like spending the extra few dollars from their billion dollar wallet.

Your forgetting it costs them a lot of money in payouts when fraudulent clicks are made, sit on the other side of the fence and pay for ads and I'm sure you'll be screaming to Google in no time with hundreds of clicks and no sales :) Google is already paying back 90 million to advertisers so it's a huge thing.

Well, as sketchi said, instead of banning people, they could just not count those clicks...

Are their other companies (other than clicksor) that use Paypal? I prefer getting my payouts sent to Paypal since I don't need to cash any checks and can send money straight out of Paypal the same day.

Probably wondering why I would want to do that, but it's a secret?

Bidvertiser arnt great, unless you have a huge site the payouts are pathetic.

i used to use oxado, the payouts are great buy the contextual bit isnt brilliant, im trying out burst media at the moment, waiting untill yahoo oges world wide :P

edit

scrap that, my site probably does get 5k views per month but as the new thing has only been up for a few days, ill leave it a while :(

Also just went back to oxado to check a few things, i made 12 euros from 6 clicks :(

just thought id let you all know heh

I have used AdWords and I do sit there wondering how many of the clicks are fake. Google can do something about it, but they choose not to. When fraudulent clicks occur, instead of banning the publisher, they could just disqualify those clicks and not charge the advertiser(s) for them. Instead, Google turns their back on countless honest publishers, assuming they are lying. Google prefers the guilty before proven innocent approach.

There could be numerous reasons Goggle suspend accounts, I see many sites from here (via the tutorials listings) asking visitors to click ads for example or they have topics in their forums asking members to click ads, to me those publishers should be banned a few fraudulent clicks is also money out of someone elses pocket so why should they be getting paid?

Those people should be banned, but those aren't the people I'm referring to. I'm talking about the people who genuinely don't cheat or honestly know they were cheating.

I followed the TOS to a T, but I was banned and never received any notification or a response from them after sevaral emails. Sure, Google didn't owe me an explanation, and I'm not saying they did. It's just bad business in my opinion.

For the people who didn't know they were cheating, it is their own fault. But if it was an innocent mistake Google should at least hear them out.

If Google were to hear everyone out that made an honest mistake then they wouldn't have any time to do anything except listen to people plead their case for why they should get their ads back.
