ahh yes, but the law states if its the same then its a no go but if its not the same and in some way altered then you can, otherwise monopoly can sue pringes
i see so many alterations on the net where company logos are altered for fun and stuff its silly.
its not really a laughing matter... take Google, if I create a site called Poogle and made it all brown, and did the same thing that Google does (A search engine...) then Google would take action
This is exactly the same, as you editing the logo and using it for the same purpose as the original - it doesn't matter if its 'just for fun' or for a school project - you need to be unique and think of improving the game instead of changing it with a gimmic
Theres serious concequences to these sorts of things, and people generally ignore them - my advice is to consider what your doing properly before doing so
