Without further ado:

Britney Spears Vector
I really don't like Britney much, but a friend requested this, so yeah. :P
Erm, spent about 5 or so hours on this? I think a bit more, but I can't remember.
I'm gonna be editing the flaws and smoothing it out a bit when I have more time. :P

And then we have:

"No Name" Vector
An original name, eh? I don't know who she is, so I can't say...
This is for the competition over at http://www.vexels.net. Erm, yes, it is a vector, even though I've submitted it on there. ._.

Around 1852 shape layers in Photoshop, ALL done with the Pen Tool. NONE of this is the original photo. I'm not a cheat like that. I just aim for realism. Taken about 26 hours, or more, spread over several days. ;)

They look incredible, necklace looks great. The Brittany Spears one is also great, I thought it was a real photo at quick glance, nice job, good skills.

they are absolutetly gorgeous, and i know how much work this must have been. But i have 1 question: what is the point vectorizing images like that when you can do 90% of that using auto trace in illustrator cs2?

I'm kind of in denial with myself on the "No-Name" necklace; it looks too realistic; as does the eyes.

If they're true vectors, then I would have to say great work; they're amazing.

It is certainly a vector, I can assure you. I might provide close-ups soon. :)

Erm, having using the illustrator trace tool, you can't get the same effect at all! I've tried it on several images when I had the trial, and the effects are simply black and white lines, I'm sure they were...

Thanks a lot all. ;)

Woah, they look amazing. The Britney one looks so good and the clothing looks almost tooo perfect. :) As for the second one, that is something else, the eyes look amazing and the lips look to good to be a vector. Very well done .

This image is to prove that certain points of the second vector ARE vector.
