Blending 2 Images Together

In this tutorial i will teach you how to blend 2 images together as 1 image, there are many different ways people find to do this but this is the easiest way i have come across in my days......
These are the 2 images i will be using
now open the first image and copy and paste the second image on top like this :
now select the gradient tool and use these settings
now on the layer box select layer 2 (the one you pasted ) and hit the add vector mask:
now drag the gradient tool you selected across screen like thing:
and keep doing it till you get a result that satisfies you my result is:

What's that weak shadow inbetwen right render and left render shoulder?

he painted with black to make the background layer visible?
right?

Actually...im not even sure lol. I will check on that and report back. I think its a part of the left render's shoulder, kinda like a pixel stretch effect.

thats the shoulder on the first render.. its like a long armour thing.. its low opacity in that spot towards the render..
