Pure CSS + PHP. I'm a begginer at PHP. I'd like you all to check for compatibility issues, as i design on a Mac. Should be a 3 column layout.

As with all, have fun tearing it apart.

It's not bad. I think it would be better without the borders, and instead have very pale background colors just to differentiate between columns.

I really don't like the content, though. It takes way too long to figure out what the site is about (and even then, I'm not 100% sure), and the only menu of the site is tucked away in the middle of the right-most column. Are people's comments, the poll, and everything else really more important than the only navigation provided?

Also, why is comment form the first thing on the page? The visitor hasn't even figured out what the site is about, and you want them to comment? I'd put the announcements and links to the left, in place of the comments, and put the comments on the right with the form on the bottom of the comments. I'd also put the poll somewhere else, not on top of the article.

It looks nice, but like others said it's crowded. Static designs are a no-no. Make it stretch to fill the page, that should relieve a lot of crowding issues.

I like the style, it looks pretty nice. I think the only thing that is kind of bad about the layout is the outer black border. In my opinion, it seems to restrict the content of the site a bit.

Nice work :(
