Good Day-

I need to create a simple text image but it needs to be true vector. I really do not know what this means.

I just have 3 simple words and 2 puppy paws that I need to be in true vector. Can someone explain how I can do this in Adobe Illustrator CS2?

Regards,

Deidre

If you're doing it in Illustrator with the pen tool (for the paws) they'll be vector. The text you create (with the text tool) will be vector as well. You may need to create oulines on the text as well. Not sure exactly what you mean by "True Vector" tho...

go type>creat outline or shift+ctrl+o on pc
that is if you want to manually edit your text. but u cant turn them back to text again after you've done editing
if you have bitmap images that u want to turn them into vector, go use life trace (object>live trace)
