I thought I finally should get around it to get the amazing P2L community's comments on the latest design on my design company site. http://xldstudios.com/ go ahead and comment and critique it if you wish. Problems, errors or suggestions keep them coming. I hope you all like it!

Agree with the comments above about the header's cut.
The only negative thing I can see is that the red and the blue colors you've chosen looks a bit weird together.
Other than that, looks good <_<

i see wot u mean, in the top left?

wonder if he maybe used a darker grey than the rest of the header, as opposed to the red and blue being on a blue bg <_<

but if u mean the red and the blue on the grey as well i actually think that looks fine :P

just my opinion hehe

Agree with others about the choppy sections. Try and smooth those out. Also, just under the Customer Login section, I think there's a transparency there or something because you can see through to the repeating blue background with the XLD letters. Not sure if you meant to do that.

Off the sitemap I clicked on XLD Quotes. There's an error on that page.

Yeah, specially there and in the navigation menu. Red over blue looks a bit weird in my opinion.
And I think that on the grey, for example 'Customer Login' or 'XLD Studios' would look better without the shadow, just like the 'bookmark us' at the top.
But well, it's only my opinion <_<

no, no. i think thats a fact :) heh, jus kiddin, but i think it WOULD look better without the drop shadows too.

fix that and the jaggies, and you got yourself a very professional looking site.

only other thing i'd say needs work is the banner, a random filters effect is not pretty, try adding simplicity using the pen tool or seomthing.

that transforms photoshop into ms paint.

Looks really nice, the background seems a little tacky, only the colors though. I think it'd look a lot better in gray, but thats my opinion.

Use vector curves in photoshop or adobe illustrator to make them curves sleeker! Itd look a lot nicer :)

Great site  Easy to navigate, although there is a lot of "Busy Text".

Jaggedness as mentioned. Also the transparency Jacorre mentioned under the customer login. I was bored n did a few tests with the blue red colour, and keeping with that scheme, i think if you changed the blue in XLD to #0920c8, and the red in Studios to #c80920, it may look better. Of course this is upto you, and there only meant to help not dictate :).

Other than this the site looks very busy. Try simplify it.

The colours on the rollovers could use some work aswell.

Dont get me wrong i think the design is very well done, just some things i noticed. Keep up the good work mate.
