I would play around with the layout a bit more, try adding in some content with all that white-space floating around.

I agree with lilman, it seems to be just a little to simple.not bad but yeah too simple i find....
its ok to have it simple but theirs a limite

well anyway, i think you should do without the splash screen cause it doesn't really surve a purpose and doesn't have much visuals. a splash screen should have one or the other, or both...
i also think your site would look perfectly fine in an 800x600 so that notice at the bottom is misleading
but i like the colors, the icon at top, and the feather at bottom

but the idea is that: make a webpage for any reslution (looks good on 800 x600 but at 1024 x 768 it lefts mnay space, isnt it?) and simple as google (you may have noticed that the idea came from google's layout.
anyway, I have a problem with iFrames, I'm trying to make something more like the traditional layout of menu/title/content without frames but is a little bit hard
