I've had my blog for a while, but only recently have I finally got around to using it, and finishing up a few things about the design.
I was going for very simple, and used bright colors to give a nicer, happier feeling. The blog itself is nothing special yet, just a general blog-type-thing, but I hope to expand it and host more tutorials and have a portfolio once I get some work.
I am pretty sure it works well in the newest versions of Opera, Firefox, IE and Netscape, but haven't had a chance to test it in Safari.
There are a few issues that aren't very big, but I will get to them eventually. In all browsers besides Firefox, when viewing a permanent link page, the comments at the bottom are indented a bit. And I think the "Down to bottom" link doesn't work in IE.
If you spot any other problems please tell me, I'd like to make this site as cross-browser friendly as possible.

A great thing about this page is that it's simple, and that you mix in some nice colours. The bad thing about the colors is that it by my taste get's a bit annoying with that many, you got green and blue and pink and yellow, I'd keep to just two of them. And you might add some pictures somewhere, but it's not that important.
So, my conclution is: Nice and simple, just a bit too many colors.

Some might say it's boring, and I won't argue with then, but I like it.

Well I wasn't aiming for my website to be totally enthralling. Rather just peaceful, yet fun. I wouldn't say it's boring though, myself. I actually made a point not to stick to the usual two-color scheme that is seen so often. If I had more elements that took up more space, then I don't think I'd have too many colors. The main ones are really just blue and green, then they're complimented with little bits of dark pink and orange. They're different colors for a reason, mostly for contrast so they are easily discernable from the rest of the page, allowing you to identify them apart from the rest. As for pictures, there isn't any necessity for them, like you said. I have a few very smally sized gifs to make up the layout. I tried to include as few images as I could to ease up on loading time.
Its nt bad but its to plain got a good mix of colours but you need to add a bit of a dark colour and also make those bars thicker, but apart from that it seems fine.
I do have a little dark color here and there, it just doesn't make up the layout. Any dark color making up the layout wouldn't look good. And thick bars look terrible in almost every instance I've seen them, so I'm staying away from that. I kinda like the idea that my website has a sort of "thin" feel to it. It compliments the simplicity otherwise.
Maybe it is a little bit plain, but I really like it, logo looks great, it could probably do with something more, but still, the colours are great, I personally love the blue/green combo, that's why I like P2L so much (well and their great tutorials ) Simple but I do like it.
Did you mean the logo could probably do with something more, or just the general design? Psh everyone knows that the tutorials are just a bonus to p2l. The real treat is just coming here to look at it. And do nothing else. For an hour.
great man

Na the logo is great, just the overall design it seems a bit too open, like i said i do really like it, even something simple like give it a container or a slight shadow down each side like P2L has, just something small like that I dunno.

I like the design of the site, very simple, I would just siggest making a border or something...like sq3r said a "container" for the content, nice work though

Wow, for some reason at first glance because of the letters in your URL I thought it said "the queer" >>; moving on...

Haha, that's awesome. It's weird what some things have as a split-second first impression in our minds.
Anyway, I'm sq3r, and I'm the one who suggested not to have a container
I like the clean and simple look. The colors are vibrant and look great. Btw: It looks good in Safari.
Ah thank you. I really need to get myself a Mac :[
I also like the clean and simple look. I'd rather see a site designed like that, than with big flashy colours, over-sized images, etc.
Yes that's what I was going for. I see so many website with humongous banners that take up half the viewable space at the top, drop shadows, soft glows, glossiness, pixel-fonts, blocky structures, rounded edges, etc. I just wanted to veer away from that before I got sucked in. Thanks :]

I am actually starting to see little things here and there though. That's expected of course, especially with me. I might make a few small changes soon.
ALSO, I am looking for some affiliates for my site. Affiliation doesn't really mean anything to me besides exchanging links and hopefully making a strong connection for which new and exciting traffic to travel by. Check this page out for more info.
