My new site Reality Web Design is just up and running. It's my place to show off my web design.

What do you think

simple and nice, reminds me heaps of that sthreer blog, but oh well, nice colours, just maybe add a roll over effect to the navigation.

Yeh, added the rollover, and it is similar to sqthreers but i can promise I did not copy it.

That helped it :P I dunno if a light green would be better, to keep the pink/green going obviously and to make it stand out more. =/

- Try making the gradient on the top blend in a bit better with the rest of the design (making the gradient grey>white instead of grey>brighter grey).
- It's incredibly like sqthreer's blog, the colors, the layout, everything. But I like sqthreer a lot better for some reason I can't really explain. Maybe just because I saw it first?
- Too simple! It's hard to make just text on a white background looking good, I'd try to add some more elements.

I really like that light gradient you added at the top, it gives it a much nicer feeling.

As for some things it needs done: When ran through an XHTML validator it doesn't pass, so that's something you could work on. And I don't know if it was purposeful or not, but the links in the sidebar aren't consistent among all the pages. On any pages beside the home page, the affiliate section is gone and the resources section shows itself.

I do think you mixed in minimalism to a nice degree; it's not too plain/boring, and not too busy/chaotic

a.k.a. brilliant

One thing is that I would rather you link to my blog, since there's nothing on my main site other than a link to my blog, and it's gonna be like that for a while. And is there any way you can prevent it from displaying your domain name in the address bar even when you're browsing my site?

nice colour schemee (u mind if i nick it lol). I think when you do a design that simple, the dividing lines is a no. try to use something to else seperate content. But overall its not bad :(

Edit: oh and for the adress bar-less thing you wanted. A giant address barless popup would be your best bet ;) (forgive the desription, i cant remember the parameters at this second :google:)

What dividing lines are you talking about? Do you mean the ones on the Designs and Web Templates page? If so, I agree. The plain old horizontal rules aren't very pleasing to the eyes. You could maybe style them so they're just a regular light gray line.

Yeah I was purposely making a mean face, don't worry.

Most of that meta stuff isn't totally necessary, but here's an extensive list of meta tags and their purposes: http://vancouver-webpages.com/META/

That as well :D I also mean seperating the nav from the main content area.
