Ok---welp i tried searching for the Paint Bucket Tool,, but its no where to be find..is it because in CS2 it doesn't have it? b/c i don't see the icon anywhere on the Tool box...

i read the Tutorial on this site..it says the Gradiant box is the Paint Bucket tool but its not..its says "Gradiant" only..
on this tutorial help it show how the paint bucket tools look like -- welp for me when i click on it..its only the Gradiant tool...

anybody know where its at..in the CS2 though..not ps7....
maybe i don't have that---and need to download it? welp i do i do that?

I'm trying to make a new layer and fill the background color? but there's no way to do that? anybody know how to fill a background color in on a new layer?
'
thanks in advanced.. ^_^

The easiest way to fill a layer is to:

Ctrl + Backspace = Fill layer with background colour
Alt + Backspace = Fill layer with foreground colour

but if you wish to use the paint bucket tool, right click on the gradiet tool and you'll find it.

To select the Paint Bucket Tool:

Then, to create a new layer, Layer >> New >> Layer, choose the foreground color you want and then, with the Paint Bucket Tool selected, click on your document.

As fayt suggested - learn to use key shortcuts, they're great time savers when you are used to them. Thre's no use in switching the current tool only to fill a selection - shortcuts are much faster and efficient :(
