The banner far from fits with the rest of the site. However otherwise very sleek and clean. I would advise you to have the text non-bold and no anti-alising. But as most of the new designs seen today this is far from unqiue. You can see this type of style around most of the tutorial sites out on the web.

Keep the color sceme on it a bit more and maybe make it a bit more neat to fit in with the rest, it seems a bit overdone in comparison to the rest... just a thought really...
what i always like also is if u have a logo which comes out of the banner and slightly onto the lower or upper part...

That looks alot more clean and fits well with the design. It needs alittle logo or something though, so it stands out a bit more! Good work

Wow I have to say that it does look nice. Though it's not very original. It looks just like imusion.net. Just thought I'd mention it...
