You must include the .PSD file.

What about those who do not use the overrated Adobe program? I could include the .PNG...

You must include the .PSD file.

I presume you mean the winning entry sends you the psd file? Not post it?

Why would all entries have to include a psd and plus this forum has access to guests viewing and they can download.

just an idea. this is currently © me btw - i just don't like watermarking them. you want to keep your colours or change them? and you do have 100-500 uniques a day, right? :) . 1 month sounds a bit short for it - say $0.10per click, 1% CTR, your logo design is worth $3-15 (max).

Yes, 100 visitors AT LEAST wehn the new design will be released. That logo design is worth $3-$15

therefore

Based on 1 visitor for 1 click

$0.10 x 100 = $10

I can assure you most of those visiotrs will take more than one click though. :)

Btw What the hell is CTR?

COME ON PEOPLE. GET YOUR ENTRIES IN.

Donna - yes, the winning entry must pm me with the .PSD. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough with that.

Btw What is CTR?

Well, the thing is Chris, CTR stands for click-through rate. I can assure you that an advert with a fantastic click-through rate might under the best of circumstances achieve a 4-5% CTR. A realistic CTR is 1%. This places your prize value at $10 x 0.01, or $0.10. That's fifteen english pence. Say the logo above took me 20 minutes. I'd be working for a $0.40/hour. It means that by bothering to tell you this, I've even made a loss on the advert, indeed, I'm now working for $0.20 an hour! As that's not my real-world rate, indeed I can see money disappearing. No wonder my company think of P2L stuff as pro-bono. In a $20 logo competition, they'd get 25 hours of work in at the rate you're asking them to work. Typically, I'd expect a prize of at least 3000-6000 clickthroughs for a logo design, not 1-2, which is the going rate per 100 unique visitors. To put it in further perspective, $180 would be a full month's salary.

And I don't care if they click around Bonxa :) . If I run advertising, it's to get someone onito a site. It doesn't matter how many clicks they make before going there. I don't suppose you can share some site stats by PM or forum so we can help you work out the actual value of your prize?

Please understand that while we can give up time to help you on this forum, no-one is going to put in lots of work for an unquantifiable or non-existant prize unless they're

a) bored
B) struggling for portfolio pieces
c) the Mother Theresa of Illustrator

At $15, working backwards, $0.10 per click, that's 150 clicks, you'd need about 10000 unique visitors in a month for your prize to be worth it. And to me, your prize money seems too low.

Hope you won't take this the wrong way, it's not intended as an attack. I just want you to understand the business model behind your post, and why you're not getting the responses you want. Feedback on colours required would be good too - are you planning to change your template?

VERY confusing Discontiny. However, I think I get it. I AM planning to change the template as it says in the first post. I will share some stats from the past 5 days in this post later when I get to them as Im busy today.

Ok, you can now get 2 months free advertising. Colours should include blue definatly. I'll be getting the template up within the next few days so you can look then.

I like blue, now that logo, I like. Maybe, reduce the fatness of the feather a bit to make it thinner and taller. not too tall though and you'll have a good chance of winning.

|Well, there lovely alter-box

Logo 1) I like the whole general concept of the logo however improvements:

1) Make the 'B' more centered

2) The Yellow and Green text dont go. Make it greyie silvery colour.

Logo2) Same as above apart from the green text. I prefer it with both taglines.

Logo 3) I love these, I prefer them to the above ones (your other ones) iMPROVEMENTS.

1) Make the 'B' more centered

2) Change the yellow.

3) Add a few more pencils and a brush or two.

Logo 4) Same as above apart from change.

Next time, if you follow these improvements and change the colours of the taglines, youve got a good chance of winning.
