so I am working with the advanced render and depth of field effects in c4d finally and I decided to make something simple, can you take a look at this picture of marbles and tell me what am I missing, I want more realism, thanks in advance guys..

they all look good but the orange ones dont really do it for me, they just look 2d for me sorry.

yeah i know about the orange ones, thats why i posted it, i was hoping you guys could give me some feedback as to how to make it more realistic, but thanks alot for the compliments guys ;)

The orange ones are too transparent... instead of looking like a marble, they look like thing glass spheres. If you reduce the "clearness" of them, that would help. The rest kick ass.

That's really nice. The close up orange ones look see-through aswell. Good job mate.

Hey, just out of question: Do you mind if you render that at different resolutions? Like say 1280x1024? I'd like to use it as my wallpaper. You can mark it if you want to. It just looks so darn awesome!!

How much is Cinema 4D again? :P

Yeah, I lvoe the reflection in the black marble on the left, it's so realitic - you couldn't take a photo that good!
