looks good though you have to add some padding around the outside of the images.

id fade the black bg into the green, at current they look quite silly as seperate backgrounds they contrast to much. so fade the black into the green.

Because the copyright of WordPress is gone

He can remove that, it's NOT a copyright it's a Powered By Wordpress linking to the site no one needs to keep that on their WP Blog, free to add or remove anything, including the "powered by" link. Your need to read the GNU again.
