I've been trying to find out how to make a slide open div/iframe for an adminstration panel for a site I am coding.

It's pretty much the exact same thing as the template HTML editor in the IPB 2.x.x ACP

I've been searching high and low and can't find anything I could use.

Does anyone have any links they could give me to help out?

Hi,

I have a solution you may be interested in; I dunno if you know about it or have used it before, but I'll take a shot.

Have you heard of Script.aculo.us? I won't go into detail about what it's about and what-not, but with it you can slide open (or close) <div> tags (as well as others). See a demo of the effects here. If you like the look of this, you can follow these instructions and see if you can get it working. I use it on my site and it's pretty easy to get it working, but I'll help if you need any.

Another thing you could use is some of Adobe's Spry widgets.

Here's an example of an expanding/collapsing content box. You can also check out this page for some more information. I recently viewed an Adobe demonstration on Spry and it's very clean code and easy to use.

You can download all the CSS and JavaScript files you need from the Spry main page.

Thanks, guys, these are both exactly what I needed.

I'll take a look and see which one will be easier for me to integrate with my current AJAX structure.

Nonetheless, thanks, you've saved me a ton of trouble..

It's surprising how big of a difference a box sliding and just appearing makes to me <_<

Another good one to try is "moo.fx". I've played around with it before, its not too difficult!
