Nice work mate love the layout and the style, but I think you need to have some line spacing or somthing between the lines of words, they seem very close together. Other than that, looks very good .

Nice layout, but is there supposed to be a white bg or something behind the content as its not showing and is hard to see the text

Yes there is a white background behind all the text. Which browser are you using as this site is optimized for Netscape and Internet Explorer only. Firefox users, as well as Opera and others may have some issues viewing it properly.

Thanks everyone but I did extensive market research and found that most users have either Netscape or IE5.5+ and I don't think I'll make it work for FF--unless someone knows an easy trick to doing that haha.

BTW, what does 'FTW' mean?! Haha

For the win!

And yeah... most users have either Netscape or IE5.5 because they are home users who don't know much about computers so they leave their default Web Browser installed.

Personally I would recommend making it as cross browser compatable as possible.

Now that is weird, Matheus...

Hey, Stoggy... might I ask what you did to make it not work in FF properly?

Hey thanks guys for the excellent feedback, really appreciate it. As for the errors in FF I really cannot explain it! I design all my websites the same way everytime and this is no exception. Plus the fact that it's all valid code is even more mind boggling to me.

I don't think I'm going to worry about fixing it too quickly unless someone knows some tricks to doing that!

Regards.

Try testing with all browsers as possible before you go to the next step. That will avoid making mistakes. And if it valid HTML it doesnt mean it has to be compatible with all browsers.
Not a bad layout by the way, although the I think you use too much shade in around the white space, or that you use it from all the sides.

Good job

if you're designing other people sites, you'll need to have it compatiable with all browsers, b/c your clients might not know how (reason they go to you) and because FF is rapidly growing in user base...

and because I said so lol

EDIT: one more thing make it 100% CSS FTW...

My site is valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS for the record.
