First make 3 layers:
layer 1 = full circle --> normal mode
layer 2 = type layer --> exclusion mode
layer 3= Half of ying-yang model (just draw it with pentool) --> exclusion mode

Attached File  Layers.jpg   15.17KB   75 downloads

Then make different layers (f.ex. 6), each time turn the top layer (ctrl+t, center rotation point, then just drag outside selection)a few degrees (in our example 6°)

Attached File  rotation.jpg   58.98KB   98 downloads

Then animate in Imageready

Part II: the animation effect:
Tutorial - Part II

And the final outcome:

I know it needs tweeking, but the priciple is there.

BDW
If you want the "69" to turn also, just repeat the whole proces (at the same time) for the type layers (copie etc...)

Make sure at all times, at each frame.. always only 3 layers may be visible.

Go back to your photoshop --> make 5 copies of your type layer and with the ctrl+t command turn them in the opposite direction with 60° (no need here to adjust the center since it's allready in place.

In ImageReady --> always 3 layers visible at each frame in animation palette, but now f.ex in frame 2: shape layer copy1 and type layer copy1 will be active etc...

I'll try to show you with screenshots when i have the time.

What i would suggest though is that youtry at least this one, so you know what i am talikng about and then maybe you can find therest yourself.
