Hi guys, I am currently in the process of setting up my own webcam website. I would like a live link between the cam and my PC, I wil have a dedicated computer and all the equipment is ready I just need to know how to code it (If coding is required) and how to maintain it.

Any help would be ace and a once I get a memebersahip system done however helps can have free access to it :D, what a nice insentive ;).

Thanks in advance.

No idea why I'd want to help you, however;

For a basic streaming webcam, you can just use you're simple average webcam (or whatever cam you have) and the software from http://www.yawcam.com/

It enables you to have a streaming webcam on a webpage interface. Just download it and see for you're self.

LOL I have serious issues? Says the child that asked for help, then rejects it? You're quite pathetic.

Why try and flame me? Why even bother, it's people like you that make the internet an annoyance when working, 9 times out of 10 you'll be that person who gives it on here, then runs miles from confrontation in the real world.

"wth, what is so bad abou yawcam? It seems quite good propax?? and why does he have serious issues :S ??

"Oooo Yawcam is nice lol, now if only i was a girl."

Sorry but it seem's quite highly rated? You have the issues I'm afraid, now get a fucking grip and take you're issues, elsewere.

Yawcam isn't what a require so there for I'm not going to use something of no use and waste my time. It just seems logical, but o wait that's something you wouldn't quiet understand.

Propax, Yawcam looks exactly like what you need for what you described - If it's not then you may need to re-explain yourself.

Also, stop being an ass. Whatever you problem is with Vandalised, keep it out of the forums, because speaking for myself....I do not wish to read it and i suspect that goes for everyone else.

Ban Guidelines

2. Ignoring staff warnings or testing patience / boundaries.

5. Flaming will not be tolerated here. If you want to have a "heated" discussion with other members, PM them
6. Troublemaking. Starting problems for the sake of stirring up waves will get you removed.

9. Abuse to other Pixel2life members will not be tolerated either.

Shall i continue, or do you want me to skip the middle-man a let Faken do what he wants with his website?

Hey look I really am not bothered what Vandalised thinks of me or my opnions, I do however care about P2L and I apologise for breaching the rules. But Vandalised shouldn't have posted here if he doesn't want to give help, which if I am mistaken is the whole purpose of P2L, like he stated on a previous post.

My apologise go to Vandalised and the P2L members and staff.

Finally, The cam I am going to use isn't really computer ready, by that I mean it has no USB cable, it is more a security cam I am using, I couldn't find a cam on the net with a long enough USB cable so I had to get this one which is pretty good. All I have is a signal receiver and thats pretty much it. I hope this clears it up.

Ok fine and thankyou and we'll leave it at that, after just being told and reading this has followed on from another topic I suggest to Vandalised to refrain from further replying in this topic, if your just replying to provoke members do it elsewhere as it's not welcome on Pixel2life.

Propax, you can get USB extension cables btw as I have one so maybe you'd be better off doing that.
