haha don't worry I already thought everything out... found out how I will do it and I have already ordered all my material... only need the plexy glass which is taking for ever :\... and I have been looking at it for over 2 weeks and I still love it and I'm loving it more and more the further I get into this project....

and on a side note: I ended up convincing one of my friends to also make a custom case with me and he agreed and so right now I'm working on a 3D model of his so that we can have a better idea on it.... so I'l probably post picture on that one in here also....

Would love to see those pictures..and decide the same for mine too..

haha awsome hope to see a sketch up of it... can wait to see other people ideas... but yeah tomorrow I'll post pictures of my parts and a little wood box prototype I made.... still waiting on the plexy BAH! been waiting 2 weeks... got all my other parts tho... and my neon light might get 3 other ones tho...see how it goes

Alright so heres an update on my progress.... first I wanna say that FINALY! the plexy came in today... yeah 3 weeks later... not only they they even screwed it up.... didn't send me the see threw green for my friends case.... but we are gonna go ahead without it instead.... and I'm gonna be bitching at the companie tomorrow morning....

Alright so for the progress on my case I just wanna say that It's gonna be started shortly, the reason it's not started is because I needed the plexy... so now I can finaly start... but here are some pictures of whats gonna be inside of it... the computer parts I just bought....

Fans and neon light... second one is on the way...









But while I was waiting for my stuff we ended up starting on my friends case.... so here goes...

here are the cases side panels and the plastic parts befor we started...





Metal mesh we are gonna be using...





Sanded the sides of the panels for when we paint... and only sides because middle will be cut...







Friend cutting the metal mesh...








now drilling holes for the screws that will hold the mesh to the panel and cutting the panel








Now we put the mesh on the panel and we start adding a rip effect in the mesh to creat en effect as if their was a beast inside the computer trying to get out...










And finaly for now this is what we got out of 2 full days of working on it...

Haha that's freaking awesome Turned out much better than I expected. I was a bit skeptical about the claw marks when I first started reading that part but they turned out great. Can't wait to see how yours comes out (Stupid ignorant companies )

yeah I was a bit sketchy about the rip effect too when he first told me it... I would of made it on the 3D model I ded only if I knew how but as you see I didn't.... so I was a little worried because I didnt know how it would look till I started doing some test rips on the scrap mesh we cut off... and it looks not bad.... took for ever to do it though..

Yeah it looks like it would've taken forever. Better be careful walking past it though - you might cut yourself on the claw marks

haha yeah my friends keeps saying that too but we sanded the edges sown so tehy are kinda dull so that way ts a BIT afer
