Hey guys,
As you know, school has started and im on my last year of high school, taking level 3 photography here, which is the highest in highschool down here.
Anyway, I have to complete a 3 board layout, and heres my dillemma, i need a idea, a good one.

Matt has already suggested Music and how listening to a certain type of music can trap you in this box and make
everyone look at you completely differently for it. So if anybody has any ideas on this subject could you provide any help.

Otherwise, if you have any other ideas on subject matter that I can use, could you please submit, it can be about ANYTHING I like so yeah.

Something to note are that I want to be using a person, a girl prefirably as a model.
Also to pass, your idea/subject matter must regenerate and/or progress through this board to end up somewhere completely different or even end up where you started aslong as it regenrated.

ANY help would be much appreciated, thanks P2L :)

Thought this would be easy living in one of the worlds most scenic countries, only idea that comes to mind is life and death, if your close to the ocean use her as a model washed up dead on the shore and for the life part she could be dancing along the beach or something, morbid but you get the idea lol

Hmm this is a tough one. Maybe you could get your model to do things in different locations. For example, you could take pictures in 3 different locations... the city, the suburbs, and the countryside... and have your model dress differently or do something distinctly different for each of the settings. Get what I'm saying? It's sort of hard to describe. :)

I quite like this idea, any ideas on how to make them progress/link/regenerate instead of just being 3 boards with 3 different scenes?

Thats a poor excuse! Some bbc camera man spent months trying to track an animal for some shots and only saw it right at the end, now thats dedication!

I'm not sure exactly of how you'd do the transitions between the boards. Maybe the last picture on each board can be a sort of retrospective on the previous location... for example, the last picture(s) on the city board could show the city or some part of it in the distance. Basically just try to convey the idea of leaving one place and going to another.

sounds like a fun project....
have you ever seen a movie called "Slacker"?
the idea is really cool, and i think it might apply nicely to this type of project.

the camera starts off showing one character. that character moves along, on its way somewhere, and at that place, encounters another character. perhaps they exchange something - money? a package? many things could work in this case. upon meeting, the camera then begins to follow the NEW character. that character meets up with yet another, and the camera follows them. kind of a six degrees of separation theme, ya know?

an idea, to go along with this, might be to make the first and final characters meet up at the end, kind of a coming full-circle type of thing.

have fun with it! :P

The stages of an erection, I don't know. It's your project, and even though its not asking much for people to come up with ideas, I think it should be something all your own. I rarely, take the time to make a post complaining about someones request (actually this may be the first time I have), but I am very against this request. But hell, I am of the do whatever you want mentality, so do whatever you want.
