Donna, these aren't pine cones, they are cedar cones, and this red thing is some kind of a mushroom. And about my dog, she wanted to play with me, so I took her fave ball and made her pose for me, and ball was a treat. She was happy to do it :)

About macro I forgott to mention that all of these are manually focused :)

pine cones/cedar cones same thing to me lol, weird place for a mushroom to grow but fungus pops up anywhere I guess.
