I have satellite internet access and satellite phone and TV but the phone sucks, took 6.5hrs to get here from where I live and really hoping to catch a glimpse of the wolverines as they have a few here that come around for food scraps. heard the wolves in the mountains but I highly doubt they'll come down where I am.

Lake looks better in summer than it does winter.

Completely frozen over now and your safely able to walk over the other side, you just have to watch out for the thermal spots so you don't fall in lol. The Mountain in the first pic is an unactive Volcano but it still has thermals under the Lake. Wolves/Foxes have been venturing over but unable to get any photo's of them.

Most days look like this and worse you just can't see anything but white.

Snow Bunny, have a few shots of this little dude he just sat there thinking I couldn't see him lol. Was funny wathing him go through 4ft snow banks all you saw was the snow moving like a rippling wave.

Wow Gabe long long time my friend hope all is well with you, temps went down to minus 25C but most days were around minus 5
Looks very cool, in comparison to everyday life here in the city.. Would love to be somewhere like that, what pulled you out there into the middle of no where anyway, what kind of job do you have?
Oh yeah is a real culture shock to come back home lol, I got home at 2:30am this morning and don't go back now til spring. I was camp cooking for drillers, drilling for gold. Kewl and easy job and very high paying.
cool shots looks a really nice place to be, must be cold tho
love the bird hehe and the bunny
Was cold a few nights especially since I didn't want my fire going lol but you get used to it, it's actually warmer when it snows believe it or not.

Where I live it goes down past minus 40C then with the windchill on top of that feels like minus 50C and yep that's friggin cold you go out and do what you have to as quick as you can.
