Hi,

I am a learner in web designing and I really don't know code in HTML. Though I am a graphic designer, I was out of coding all these years. P2L teaches me a lot.

I need help to add a comment box in the website I am creating. I used spry validation text area and a submit button. But I don't know how to get the comment added to be updated on the page. I have to specify an area for this and also I have to add a validation text field to add users name which has also get updated for display.

Thank you in advance for your kind responses.

You can't do it in Dreamweaver (i think).

You'll need PHP for that, for which you can (like HTML) simply use Notepad that you've probably already got on your computer. So check out the PHP tutorials section of this site, and good luck

comment is a function which most blogging software come with.. you might be able to find a spry widge(or free script) some where for comments, if not you need to find some one to help you write the program. You can learn it your self but it's gonna take a while, because php or perl work with database like mysql.... it can get complex.
