How do i stream videos from youku, dailymotion .etc on my site in my own flv player?

They offer an free link but it embeds their own flv player... how do i get it to run in my own?

The best (and I think only) way to do this, is search the API's of those websites on how to use their content in your own player.

I guess most of these websites use a standard player that loads an .flv file to play, just find out how to go from a youtube or a dailymotion URL to the corresponding FLV file.

Keep in mind that by taking away the player those 'content providers' use, you take away their ability to advertise, that means they're paying bandwith without possibility of any income.. They don't like that and it will not be easy to do what you want to do :-)

Agreed and agreed.

The reason those sites force you to use their player is so that they can control things a bit. I.e. advertise (both in monitary terms and for their own site), and prevent (or at least hinder) illegal downloading.
