transparent to non transparent gradient

does anyone know how to make a gradient that makes the layer on top go from an occupacy of 100% to 0%?

Is this in Photoshop or Flash?

use the gradient fill by changing the fill bucket (click and hold down) on the selected layer you want:

to this:

and then click and drag your mouse from one corner or side of your pic to the other.

You can change the colours of the gradient by selecting different colours on the left for foreground and background :lol:

you can also change the style of the gradient by choosing from this pallette at the top:

i want to make it nit black on one side but just 100% occupacy. the other side is good.

did ya check the gradient tuts? click there :)))).. they might have more answers!!!

I am not sure what you mean by 'nit' (that checker background there is just the background before something is put on the layer, it looks like that until it is filled...)

Choose the gradient tool, then at the top click the dropdown box and choose the 2nd preset.
