Yep, that's what I am. I have always owned illustrator but never used it until I came across the Mozilla 2010 T-shirt design contest, and they state that whatever work you make has to be in SVG format. So I thought i'd try it.

I was quite happy for a first shot at vector art, the head is my own and is different to mozilla's despite the similarity (I hope). It's nothing half of you vector guru's couldn't outgun in half the time, but please tell me what you think, what you like, what you dislike and why.

Any suggestions, advice (Including give up while you still can) is more than welcome.

PS: Can anyone tell me why Adobe made Illustrator so damn fiddly? It took me forever to change the gradient with eye dropper tool and even longer to work out why nothing was happening to my selected layer.
