I'm using a sprytooltip feature in DWCS4 on one of my pages and noticed an IE rendering issue. Safari and firefox render fine but IE browser is showing a dark drop shadow. The .png of the image is suppose to look like the firefox or safari browsers.

Here is my test page. Scroll to the bottom and hover over the [+] sign to view larger image.

If you don't have IE browser, here is the rendering issue for IE. (dark drop shadow)

Is there a hack/fix for it?

I just checked it in IE8 and I can't see the problem you're talking about. Which version of IE are you using? Older versions, like IE6, won't display PNGs with transparency correctly.

I would try to stay away from using transparent PNGs as much as possible due to the somewhat inconsistent support for them amongst browsers, but if you need to use them, here's a good method for getting them to display correctly on older IE versions:
